Bio

Ludwig started his journey with the guitar at age 12, playing in rock bands while gaining an interest for digital music production. Always curious to blend different genres, he began playing the piano and went on to take a Bachelor’s Degree in Sound and Music production as well as a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Production at Dala University.

He has since then been involved in a number of projects ranging from the ”Håkan Bråkan” films (Dir. Ted Kjellson) to TV-Series such as ”Sanningen” (Dir. Linnea Roxeheim) and ”A Nearly Normal Family” (Dir. Per Hanefjord).

In 2021 he released his first orchestral album ”Septem Annorum”, where one piece was used in Jennifer Archibald’s dance performance work ”HdrM” at the Charlotte Ballet, North Carolina. Ludwig has since then released 4 more orchestral albums, showcasing his variety in music. From soaring, romantic string pieces to dark, percussive soundscapes and epic, cinematic music. Working with melodies and ambience he tells compelling stories that immerse you in the world of sound.

In 2025 he got an ”honorable mention” at the SFAAF for his original score of the short film ”Shadowland” (Dir. Susanna Anzén).

Ludwig, together with the painter and artist Gustaf Helin, has a project where they explore the world of ”Artsound” – Combining art, music and sound to immerse people into a unique experience – sounds and music combined with awe-inspiring art.
